Description

A replacement housing for a Jeep or Dodge remote that has cracked, worn through at the buttons or simply looks tired. The electronics and blade transfer across from your existing key — this is the shell only, so the remote keeps its existing programming.

Two blade profiles are offered. CY24 is the wider Chrysler-group blade used on Grand Cherokee, Ram and Durango; SIP22 is the narrower profile found on Renegade and several European-market cars. Button counts run from 2 up to 4 plus a separate panic button.

  • Shell only — reuse your existing circuit board, battery and blade, so no reprogramming.
  • Two blade profiles — CY24 or SIP22 to match your original.
  • 2 to 5 button layouts — including versions with a panic button.
  • Fresh rubber pad — restores the click on worn buttons.
  • Uncut blade — a locksmith can cut it to your existing key.

Fits: Jeep Grand Cherokee, Compass, Renegade, Cherokee; Dodge Ram 1500, Journey, Charger, Dart, Challenger and Durango.

In the box: 1 × key shell with button pad and uncut blade. Electronics not included.

Before you order: Open your current key and check the blade profile stamp and the button count — CY24 and SIP22 shells are not interchangeable. If you are unsure, a locksmith can identify it in seconds.
