BYD Sealion 7 Boot LED Light Strip

The Sealion 7 boot has one small factory light, which leaves most of the load space in shadow once the sun goes down. This flexible LED tube runs around the boot opening and lights the whole area, and it wires into the existing boot lamp circuit so it comes on and goes off with the tailgate.

• Opens with the tailgate — runs off the boot light circuit, so there is no switch to remember.
• Cut to length — trim the tube at the marked points to suit your boot opening.
• Bends to the shape — the soft tube follows the curves of the trim rather than bridging them.
• IP65 rated — handles the damp that gets in with wet shopping and gear.

Before you order: Fitting means easing back the boot trim to run the tube and tapping into the existing boot lamp socket — look through the photos to see the route before you start. Measure your boot opening so you know where to cut, since the strip can be shortened but not extended.
